Odisha Accident CCTV Footage: Seven people have lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Odisha. The incident took place on Friday (January 26). According to PTI report, a speeding SUV hit an autorickshaw along with two motorcycles. Seven people have lost their lives in this accident.
The incident is being reported from Koraput district of Odisha. The video of this incident has been recorded in the CCTV camera. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed grief over the accident and announced financial help. Some more people are also reported injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment.
Speeding SUV causes accident
It can be seen in the CCTV that this accident took place on a single lane road. An SUV is seen coming at high speed. As soon as the SUV moved forward to overtake the autorickshaw, two bikers coming in the middle of the road collided with the SUV. At the same time the auto also got involved in the same accident. After this collision, the SUV and auto rickshaw fell into a field near the road. The people traveling in all three vehicles fell down drenched in blood and started writhing. As soon as it was seen, local people immediately reached the spot and started relief operations.

Three people died on the spot
Police said that three people who met with the accident died on the spot, while four people died during treatment. Other people injured in the accident have been admitted to nearby hospitals. However, it is not known how many more people are injured.
The families of the deceased will get compensation
State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep sorrow over the accident. He expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the accident and announced financial help. An ex-gratia amount of Rs 3 lakh each has been announced for the families of the deceased. CM Patnaik has also given instructions for better treatment of the injured.
